GRUPPO CONCORDE
• LEED is not: LEED is not a product certification.
• LEED is: LEED is a building rating.
– Verified by indipendent credited Institutes.
– With multiple levels of building certifications: certified, silver, gold, platinum.

Credits MR 4• Recycled material content 10% (post-
consumer + ½ pre-consumer): 1 point
• Recycled material content 20% (post-consumer + ½ pre-consumer): 2 points
• Post-consumer : Waste material from final user• Pre-consumer: Industrial waste material (from a
source different than the applicant)

(regional material)• Requirements: use of
material or building products extracted, found, recycled and manufactured within 500 miles from the project location, contribute to:
• a minimum of 10% of the value (based on cost) of the total material used: 1 point
• a minimum of 20%: 2 punti
GRUPPO CONCORDECredit ID 1
innovation in design• “Extraordinary performances with reference to the
LEED ratings”Or
• " innovative performances for green building with no explicit relation to the Green Building Rating System”
1 point for every innovation achieved (5 points maximum)
Examples:• “Ecolabel” products• Our productions respect and improve the BAT ( Best available techniques)• The new “thinner” porcelain tiles
GRUPPO CONCORDECREDIT SS 7.1/7.2
• 7.1 Heat Island effect (excluding roof and coverings)• 7.2 Heat Island effect (roof and coverings)
Purpose: Reducing the Heat Island effect (thermal difference between urban and non urban areas) in order to minimize microclimate impact.REQUIREMENTS:a. Implement a combination of all the following strategies on 50% of the
built area (including streets, tracks, courtyards and parking lots) - Solar shading (within 5 year from occupancy)- Flooring materials with a Solar reflection index
(SRI) of 29 or greater.- Open grids flooring systems
b. Include a 50% minimum of covered parking spaces (underground, under roof, under cover or under a building). Every roof used to solar shading of parking spaces needs to have a SRI ratio equal or greater than 29

Notes:• SRI values for different coeff. of superficial thermal exchange (Wind)•Roof and coverings (7.2) foresees
•SRI>29 High inclination roofs•SRI>78 Low inclination roofs
GRUPPO CONCORDEPre-requirements EA-2 and EA1 Credit
• Pre-requirement EA-2: defines the minimum level of the building energetic efficiency
• EA1 credit: achieve energetic performaces greater than the pre-requirement.
TILES:• THERMAL CONDUCTIVITYTHERMAL CONDUCTIVITY: the quantity of heat perpendicularly
transferred to a surface due to temperature gradient • Measurement: 1.08 (W/m²K)• Materials with low thermal conductivity
Building energetic efficiency
GRUPPO CONCORDECREDIT EQ 4.2
PURPOSE: reduce the quantity of air pollutants
REQUIREMENT: The floors need to comply with the requirements of California Department of Health Services “VOC” regulation (Volatile Organic Compounds)
TILES:• VOC quantity <1mg/Kg<1mg/Kg (express in total carbon) below the instrument
detection limit (UNI EN 13649:2002)• Carbon volatility (T°<900C ) during the gres pre-cooking phase
(T°C>1200°C)
