Blessed and Endowed

Through the generosity of parishioners Trinity was blessed to sustain its mission goals and ministries in 2019, including continuing our extraordinary outreach to the community.

Trinity also has an Endowment, a fund created to support the Church. Many people have contributed to the Trinity endowment over the years.

The main Endowment fund (principal) is used for necessary major capital improvements (e.g. a new HVAC system), and for unplanned capital expenses, such as repairing damage caused by Hurricane Harvey. The principal may not be used to cover operating budget shortfalls.

Income generated from the Endowment principal covers a small percentage of monies needed to operate Trinity’s ministries and pay expenses. The rest comes from parishioner treasure.

If you have questions about Trinity’s finances or operations please contact:

Amy Luke, Vestry Senior Warden [email protected]. or

Larry Laubach, Treasurer [email protected]

A New Perspective

A giving campaign is typically a sort of annual dialogue, a plea for financial resources to sustain mission, ministry, and structure. The Church asks, the people respond.

But the conversation about giving is really one we should be having with God. Christian stewardship is a call from God to our hearts, asking us to gratefully acknowledge the many blessings bestowed on us by gifting them forward. In doing so we are empowered to extend Christ’s unending and transforming love to others, thus deepening our spiritual connection to God.

In the “We Are Trinity” 2020 campaign we will begin to focus more on the spiritual, God-centered approach to giving, and less on budgets and numbers. We encourage our Trinity family to embrace this profound and heartfelt practice by prayerfully asking

God, what are You calling me to give?

When You Are Called To Give

When God calls you to contribute treasure to Trinity, please consider making your financial gift in the form of a pledge, an amount that you wish to give weekly, monthly, annually, etc. No pledge is too small, and completing a card helps in planning for our mission goals and ministries. Please see the pledge card for giving options and other gift choices.

If God calls you to contribute time and talent in addition to (or in lieu of) treasure, please consult the Parish Life Guide to explore the many ministries and opportunities Trinity has to offer. There is something for everyone!
