There is so much going on in this Diocese to support mission and the IEF is excited to be a part of it. This year we have welcomed new parish investment, new members, new ideas for grants, and new ways of communicating. All of this has helped to increase awareness about the work of the Foundation and we hope that you will want you to be a part of it. As you review this report, please consider ways that you can be involved or make a note to let us know about ideas that you have about the work that we do. Together we will continue to build a legacy that empowers mission and ministry in the Diocese of Idaho.

Stephanie Crumrine, Executive Director

A Message from the PresidentDear Fellow IEF members and supporters,

In this, my second year as president of IEF, I am happy to be able to report some exciting changes in our organization. Our focus this year has been to broaden our contact to the greater Diocese in many ways: Our October Board of Directors meeting was moved out of Boise to Ascension Parish in Twin Falls and concluded with our first The Bishop’s Barbecue. Six parishes have named representatives to IEF for the first time. We are delighted to welcome them and to have them serve on committees managing the investments held in trust, reviewing and granting funds for mission, assisting parishes and interested parties in legacy giving, and honoring and recognizing those doing God’s work. We have made use of social media to reach out to and include all parishioners of Episcopal churches in the Diocese in our communications. The Board of Directors has worked to update the Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation to better define our mission and ministry and to take us into the future. We welcome Ron Harris to the position of IEF Treasurer for the coming year. Thank you to all IEF members and our Executive Director, Stephanie Crumrine, who have served in different capacities this year.

Blessings to you all,

Julie Slee, President

Supporting the IEFWe are grateful for all the ways the people of the Diocese of Idaho give to support the ministry of the IEF. Your gifts support our operations, but more importantly, you support the Grants program which helps make it possible to fund worthy projects that make a real difference in people’s lives across our diocese.

LegacyIf you are interested in creating an endowment or making a bequest to your parish or to the Foundation, please call the Foundation office for assistance. If you have already made a bequest, please let us know so that we can include you as a member of the Bishop Tuttle Heritage Society.

DonationsEvery year people make gifts, large and small, to the Foundation. Those people who give regularly have been named Bishop Birney Builders. Their gifts have built a foundation for the mission and ministry of our Diocese.
