This vertical and horizontal integration means ASG can respond quickly to almost any challenge or opportunity while also benefiting from internal synergies often uniquely available to us.

2006 ASG SPORT SOLUTIONS

After great success in all the above areas, Heinrich decided to expand into the sports distribu-tion industry. He did this with the establishment of ASG Sport Solutions (asgsport.co.za) and securing the exclusive agency for Rudy Project, Pinarello and Sidi in South Africa.

1999 ASG CONSULTING

The ASG Group was originally founded by Heinrich Dannhau-ser in South Africa as a diverse organization involved in software development, property develop-ment, management consulting and more.

2011 ASG INTERNATIONAL

ASG Sport Solutions grew rapidly to include some of the biggest brands in cycling as well as a network that stretched across South Africa. ASG International in Italy (asgint.com) was establi-shed as a strategic partnership between ASG Sport Solutions South Africa and bike bag com-pany SCICON (sciconbags.com).

2017ASG SPORTS MANAGEMENT

ASG expanded its operations to in-clude specialized sport sponsorship, licensing and marketing services in the form of ASG Sport Management based in Montecarlo (asgsportsmanagement.com).

2017ASG NORTH AMERICA

ASG North America was formed as the strategic entry point to the American endurance sports market. In order to bolster ASG North America’s strategic posi-tion, Ellsworth were introduced to the brand portfolio (ellsworth-bikes.com).

2018ASG OCEANIA

ASG Oceania (asgaustralia.com.au) is the latest development in the ASG Group’s expansion. Situated in Upper Coomera, on the Australia’s Gold Coast, it will be ASG’s Australian distribution center for its brands Ellsworth bikes, SCICON and Ftech.

After working at KPMG as an auditor for three years, he left to take up a position as financial and commercial manager at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research in SA. In 1999 Heinrich left CSIR to start what is known today as the ASG Group. Heinrich’s passion for sport, accompanied by his drive for absolute performance in every aspect of life has resulted in many accolades within his professional and sporting career. He was a national age group tennis champion, representing South Africa on several occasions, single handicap golfer, however his most loved sport is cycling. You are most likely to find him in the Cape Winelands on a bicycle enjoying a ride with the ASG Club, or training with his Italian friends in Bassano. Heinrich is currently at the forefront of financial strategy and deployment of the global ASG Group to ensure the continuous successful growth of each individual business area.

One cannot fully understand the sport industry without fully immersing oneself within the culture of each sporting discipline. Claudio has done this, from a very young age. In 1985, in partnership with his uncle, he co-founded the market leading bike bag manufacturer SCICON. Under his guidance Rudy Project saw a massive growth in turnover as well as rapid expansion into 50 international markets. With over 30 years of world travel and business experience, Claudio has developed a massive network of business contacts and friends within the Cycling Industry. Massimo is the co-founder and COO of ASG International. He is an expert in Operations and Logistics Management with over 20 years of experience in the sporting industry. He has successfully built and led countless working teams within the ASG brand portfolio. Originally Massimo’s father, Luciano, founded SCICON in 1980. During this time Massimo, at the age of 18, was placed within the challenging role of fabric cutting and bag packaging. Massimo’s passion for his work was born during these early years where he followed his father as a mentor. He carefully studied every detail of his father’s methods, his entrepreneurial ability, intuition in business choices and company management. In 1997 Massimo became a Partner of SCICON, and finally became the CEO in 2010. In 2011, a strategic agreement with the ASG Sport Solutions (South Africa) was formed in order to consolidate the strength of SCICON and ASG Sport in the form of ASG International. Dopo essersi laureato in Scienze dello Sport nel 2009, Niklas Quetri ha cominciato a utilizzare le migliori tecnologie e conoscenze per aiutare i ciclisti a trovare il miglior setup per le loro bici. Nel 1994, dopo aver conseguito il titolo di Dottore Commercialista, ottiene un Master in Computer Auditing. Dopo aver lavorato per KPMG come consulente per tre anni, assume l’incarico di manager finanziario e commerciale alla CSIR, in Sudafrica, dove ottiene risultati entusiasmanti. Nel 1999 Heinrich lascia CSIR per fondare la ASG Distribution. Nel 2011 consolida il gruppo con ASG International. L’innata passione per la competizione, sotto tutti i punti di vista, gli ha permesso di ottenere numerosi riconoscimenti sia professionali che sportivi: tennista di interesse nazionale, golfista di alto livello con handicap a una cifra, tuttavia il suo sport preferito rimane sempre il ciclismo. Quasi ogni giorno lo si può trovare infatti in sella assieme ai ragazzi del Team ASG. Heinrich al momento è il responsabile della strategia finanziaria di tutto il gruppo ASG e continua ad assicurare una crescita costante in tutti i suoi settori.

Non si può comprendere perfettamente l’industria dello sport senza immergersi all’interno della cultura delle varie discipline sportive. Claudio ha fatto esattamente questo fin da giovane. Nel 1985, assieme allo zio, crea la SCICON che, in pochi anni, diventa azienda leader nel settore di borse tecniche per bici. Nel 1997 Claudio continua ad accrescere la sua esperienza assumendo la carica di Worldwide Export Manager in Rudy Project che lascia nel 2017 dopo aver costantemente incrementato i fatturati per 20 anni e aperto più di 50 mercati internazionali. Nel 2010 diventa socio di T&F Sport di Montecarlo, specializzata in management di squadre di ciclismo e atleti. Con oltre 30 anni di viaggi per affari in tutto il mondo, Claudio ha sviluppato un network incredibile di contatti, conoscenze ed amicizie influenti nel mercato dell’articolo sportivo. Attualmente è il CEO di ASG Sports Management e supervisore delle strategie marketing del Gruppo ASG.

Cofondatore e COO di ASG International, è un esperto in operazioni di logistica con oltre 20 anni di esperienza nell’industria sportiva. Strategicamente, ha costruito e guidato innumerevoli gruppi di lavoro all’interno delle divisioni della ASG, di cui la principale è SCICON, ad oggi una delle aziende produttrici di borse portabici più grandi e riconosciute del mondo. A soli 18 anni, Massimo entra in SCICON, fondata dal padre Luciano, e comincia subito a farsi le ossa nell’aree più dure della fabbrica: tranciatura dei tessuti e confezionamento. Nei primi anni vive all’ombra del padre, carpendone l’abilità imprenditoriale, l’intuizione nelle scelte, la gestione dell’azienda. Nel 1997 diventa socio della SCICON per poi prenderne definitivamente il comando nel 2010. Nel 2011, grazie ad un accordo tra il gruppo sudafricano ASG Sport Solutions e SCICON, consolida e rilancia il business co-fondando ASG International. Massimo ama dilettarsi in molti sport quali sci, motocross, tennis. Nei weekend, tuttavia, predilige pedalare con il Team ASG Club o allenarsi duramente per il prossimo appuntamento.
