Our Leeds/Bradford property is so called because of

its proximity to both of these vibrant West Yorkshire

cities. It has got its own motorway, the M606, which

brings guests right to our doorstep from J26 on the

M62, and is less than 20 minutes from the centre of

Leeds a quicker journey than you will experience

from many Leeds hotels.

It is also one of the largest, AA four-star independent

and purpose-built conference and banqueting venues

in the north. It has a big reputation for large scale

conferences, annual general meetings, events,

exhibitions and dinner dances.

Overlooking the famous 200 acre Stray parkland, our

grade II listed four-star Harrogate property dates back

to 1671 and sits on the site of the towns first hotel.

Harrogate is a beautiful spa town, and our hotel is

very much part of its heritage. It is centrally located,

close to the railway station but also a short drive from

the A1 and less than 30 minutes from Leeds/Bradford

Airport.

A series of ground-floor interconnecting rooms

provide multiple options for meetings, and can be

subdivided with soundproof walls to create space for

working lunches, refreshment breaks and syndicate

breakout areas.

The property can host 320 delegates for a conference

in the Cedar Suite, with a bar and patio area providing

options for breakout spaces and refreshments.

The elegant Rowan Suite can hold up to 160 people:

it has elegant wooden flooring and is a natural, airy

space with windows overlooking the Stray. The 90

capacity Queens Suite provides a regal setting for

theatre style events or dinners. All the rooms have

natural daylight and free Wi-Fi this characterful

setting also comes with plenty of comfort and

Our Huddersfield/Halifax property is a high point for

the group literally! It has a spectacular location at

Ainley Top just off the M62, midway between

Huddersfield and Halifax on the high ridge that divides

the towns. The views stretch out over the Pennines

towards Last of the Summer Wine country.

Unsurprisingly, given its location at the halfway point

between the two business powerhouses of Leeds and

Manchester, it is a very popular venue for meetings.

The local area is itself an important hub formanufacturing and banking.

Huddersfield has 15 conference rooms, which vary

in size and can accommodate up to 430 people.

Working lunches can be served in the conference

rooms or in the Olympic Bar & Grill, and many of the

rooms incorporate a breakout area. Most are also

celebrated its 25th anniversary. When it opened, the

idea of locating a hotel by a motorway junction was

revolutionary we have been much imitated since.
