nFor visits to The Alnwick Garden, coaches are asked (unless otherwise advised) to use the drop off area in The Alnwick Garden’s priority car park on Denwick Lane (signposted).

After drop off, coaches are required to park in the coach park opposite the priority parking on Denwick Lane (B1340).

Follow the brown signs with The Alnwick Garden on and take the B1340 exit towards Alnwick/Denwick and turn either left or right depending if you are coming north or south. After approximately 1 mile turn right into the priority car park.

The Alnwick Garden is 35 miles away (less than an hour) from Newcastle Upon Tyne.

If you are using a sat nav, please use this postcode NE66 1YU Denwick lane. Please note that this post code takes you to the coach drop off and not to the coach park.

New for 2013 - Underground Pump Room Tour Guided tour of the Pump Room under the Grand Cascade (below image). Learn all about the underground workings of our famous cascade and discover how 250,000 gallons of water is pumped through the system every day.

Traditional Christmas markets have been a key fixture of the festive season for hundreds of years, and this year is no different; The Alnwick Garden will be hosting its very own Christmas Market for the first time. Whether you are looking for local hand-made gifts, festive stocking fillers or just want to soak up the atmosphere, The Alnwick Garden’s Christmas Market will have plenty of choice with an abundance of classic and contemporary decorations and gifts.

Come over all nostalgic with the glorious smell of Gluhwein and let the Baileys Hot Chocolates and great festive food on offer transport you straight to snowy Lapland. The wonderful attractions will bring colour, fun and laughter as the children take to the rides or pose for a photo in the ‘Snowglobe’ experience. The only place to be this Christmas, the market will be located just below The Garden’s magical Treehouse and is free for all to attend. So wrap up in your cosiest Christmas jumper and join in the festive fun at The Alnwick Garden.

The Alnwick Garden Christmas MarketAn exciting day full of magic and wonder, The ‘Big Christmas Adventure’ is coming to The Alnwick Garden this winter. Meet the helpful elves who will guide you around our very own Winter Wonderland, including the naughty elf ‘Himself ’. Listen to Jack Frost’s icy tales in our frosted storytelling zone and hear stories of festive cheer from Mother Christmas and help her solve her puzzling riddles. Come along and create some special family memories with this magical Christmas adventure.

The Big Christmas Adventure will be in The Garden on 23rd, 24th & 30th November and 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 20th -24th December

A Day Pass for the Big Adventure includes a whole host of exciting activities, workshops and magical encounters with elves, the infamous Jack Frost, Mrs Claus and Santa himself;
