    3. Your assignment should be typed using 11 point Arial font and 1.5 line spacing.

    4. Do not copy the assignment question and instructions to your answer.

    5. You must submit your assignment by HARD COPY.

    7. Your assignment mustbe submitted between (submission period). Submission after (submission

    period) will NOT be accepted.

    8. Your assignment should be prepared individually. You should not copy another persons

    assignment. You should also not plagiarise another persons work as your own.

    PURPOSE

    At the end of this assignment, students will be able to:

    1. Give an example the rules of differentiation.

    2. Solve derivatives by using the right rules of differentiation.

    3. Identify the nature of critical points either maximum point, minimum point or inflection point.
