Data Analysis

Women who come to the ideal age of getting married tend to lower their requirement for an ideal mate

Conclusion

Hypothesis Development

Modern females tend to prefer males who can provide them emotional support to those with enormous amount of wealth.

The higher the socioeconomic status of

the females are, the tendency of choosing males with identical or higher qualifications will be higher.

The gap between females’ actual age and their ideal age of getting married affect their preferences in mate selection

Conclusion

Personality traits bear weighted priority among all factors available for females to choose in our research.

Tend to desire for a partner who can provide them emotional support.

Wealth and academic qualifications are not the most crucial concerns.

Conclusion

Females are still much affected by traditional perceptions of qualities that males should possess, as well as the necessity for material support provided by males.

Result in the high priority of economic factor among all.

Just secondary to personality.

Conclusion

But wealth is not a prerequisite for an ideal mate from females perspective.

The most important is the sense of security that males could provide.

Conclusion

Female would lower their requirement for an ideal mate when they approach their ideal age of getting married.

A possible explanation is that it may be increasingly challenging to look for a partner who could satisfy all the expectations they have.
