Project description summaryTo improve the community, this project will cover design and building of a park and playground for the children of the area. The playground will be designed for the children between the ages of 5 to 12.

The demolition of the existing building, currently located on the site, is scheduled to be completed by September 1st 2013.

The project budget is 5 cr.

The project will not include: Demolishing of the existing building on site and removal of the debris

Assumptions: The old building will be successfully removed without any issues The city utilities water is currently serving the park area The land is free of claims. The weather will allow construction Budget of the project is maximum of 5cr.

Constraints: The playground must be suitable and safe for 5 to 12 years old children The weather during the project period could stop construction Budget of the project is maximum of 5cr.

Dependencies: Building Demolition Project is completed on time Approval to build from the soil contamination study is received Approval of the design and approval to build from the community

6. Anticipated Benefits and Estimated Costs

The project budget is 5cr. but the current estimate cost is 2.5cr

Benefits: The park and playground will improve community involvement The park will provide the community a place for social events The playground will promote physical activity for children The construction of the park and playground will provide two months’ worth of construction jobs
