IntroductionIntroduction

We are currently working on different aspects of the We are currently working on different aspects of the design so that we can first create a hovercraft that floatsdesign so that we can first create a hovercraft that floats

Our most pressing issue is acquiring first a sufficient lift Our most pressing issue is acquiring first a sufficient lift fan that can support all the partsfan that can support all the parts

This is the lift fan that we are currently planning to use.

We have not yet determined the price but have contacted the manufacturer

To the left is a P and Q cure (pressure and flow rate) for the 3 different size fans of this model. We are thinking of using the largest one.

Model BCB1012UH is the largest fan and the chart below shows some of its specifications and statistics (very bottom)

This is one of the axial fans that our group is considering using for our hovercraft.

We will have two fans one on the left and one on the right side of the hovercraft

We have not yet determined if they will be placed in the very back or the middle. We will decide after experimenting with our design.
