tujuan dari Grounded Theory Approach adalahteoritisasi data. Teoritisasi adalah sebuahmetode penyusunan teori yang berorientasitindakan/interaksi, karena itu cocok digunakan

untuk penelitian terhadap perilaku. Penelitian initidak bertolak dari suatu teori atau untukmenguji teori (seperti paradigma penelitiankuantitatif), melainkan bertolak dari data menuju

suatu teori, untuk maksud itu, yang diperlukandalam proses menuju teori itu adalah proseduryang terencana dan teratur (sistematis).
