S We at VBS, have a state of art fully equipped science laboratory for efficiently teaching chemistry, physics and biology.

Each lab also contains a modern interactive whiteboard with internet connectivity to enable the use of a wide range of resources to compliment the practical work.

These labs have a desk area for class teaching, and bench space for practical work. The bench areas have a full range of services fed from flexible overhead or floor-level service points. This arrangement allows great flexibility both in terms of room layout, and in use of time, with the transition between practical and theoretical activity able to be made very quickly.

Safety is paramount, that is why our labs adhere to all prescribed guidelines, ensuring that the labs are equipped with all necessary safety features. We have a dedicated preparation area and on-staff lab technician to offer teachers and students support with their practical work and with safety-related issues.

AB Its purpose is to involve students

actively participate in language learning exercises and get more practice than otherwise possible in traditional classroom environment. Text, images, audio and video can easily be integrated and teachers can alter materials according to the needs of the students. To attain command over languages taught in the school, we have the latest designed Language Lab which intends to help the students to learn fundamental skills of English with proficiency to communicate effectively. It can accommodate up to forty students and is well equipped with all the electronic devices to facilitate learning and to motivate the students to acquire all the skills of the language quickly and easily. It provides a facility which allows the students to listen to model pronunciation, repeat and record the same, listen to their performance and do self-assessment.

designed digital lab with sufficient systems for providing hands on experience to students from Class I to Class XII. The lab is very spacious and air conditioned and has around 40 computers to help students to learn computers individually. The lab has systems with latest windows operating system that makes students very comfortable for practicing. Computer Aided Learning (CAL) packages are specially designed to make learning more interesting and this leaves an indelible impression on the student's mind. The Internet facility enables the students to draw the latest information from Computer networks all over the world in proper supervision of the computer teacher.

Y The library has around 10,000 books on different subjects that are taught at school level and these all books are e- books as well. For an all round development of the child the school also subscribes to different competitive books like dailies, journals, magazines, newsletters and a large number of CDs besides that the school also boasts of having around 3000 reference books including encyclopedias, dictionaries, feel and touch books,3D books and Cartoon books especially for the nursery students. A child or the teacher can get the track of the books available in the library through Online Public Excess Catalogue.

The school library is a vast reservoir of books which aims at the growth of the individual and develops self esteem in them. To develop reading habits in students and staff, the school library has a well framed policy of issuing sufficient number of books to the students and staff on demand.

Our school library is growing and we are trying to provide the best reading material to our students and staff as well. The School library remains open during summer vacation for the students and staff.

Students are collaborating with problem-solving skills. Students are encouraged to make their own decisions about how to do their work and demonstrate their understanding. Once students solve the problem or challenge, they present their solutions. The problems students solve can be presented to community leaders to solve problems in their own community. This we are practising by the concept introduced by Ram Krishan Mission. The name of the program is Awaken Citizen Program.

InclusiveEducationIn our school we are practising inclusive education. Where our slow learner students study together, they enjoy field trips and after-school activities together. They participate in student government together. And they attend the same sports meets and plays.

VBS is one of the very few schools that have implemented a co-scholastic policy. There is an annual evaluation on a scale of 5. VBS lays special emphasis on sports activities to allow students to imbibe the sportsmanship spirit. We have a sports club and well equipped for the learners to grow in basketball, athletics, yoga, volleyball, table tennis, cricket, football, skating, and aerobics.

The medical room at Vidya Bharati is well equipped with all the necessary first aid and primary medical care equipment. The school has an experienced and well qualified in-house doctor who is available at all times during the school hours.

In the case of more serious ailments or injuries, the parents/guardians are immediately informed by the school. The students are treated in consultation with the parents regarding medicines, diets, allergies, etc.

The school also has its own Ambulance service available 24x7 on campus in case of an emergency.

A GPS enabled Transport System installed in all our buses ensures the security and safety of students. All our buses are equipped to ensure fire safety system as well as first-aid kit in case of emergency.

Only the experienced and qualified drivers are appointed by the school to take the learners safely from home to school and vice-versa after making them undergo a driving test. To avoid rash driving we have installed speed-governors in the buses.

On days of stay-backs, dedicated buses are made available to carry the students home. We also have back up buses in case of a replacement. In such situations the back-up buses are sent immediately.

ADMISSIONAdmission Procedure

Candidates must be registered with the school prior to appear in competency assessment.

For registration, parents should obtain the prospectus cum admission form on payment from the School's Front Office.

A child seeking admission to Pre- Nursery must complete 2 years as on 31 March. An attested copy of the original birth certificate issued by the competent authorities must be submitted along with the registration form.

Registration does not guarantee admission.

Reservation of seats in all classes as per Central Government/ UP Government/ Ghaziabad Development Authority guidelines for Economically Weaker Section of the Society.

Competency Level Assessment

For grades I to XI, the candidate has to appear for a competency assessment and qualify it. For Pre- Nursery and Prep grades, it is based on interaction with parents and students.
