Introduction
Grooming is very important in hospitality industry, the word “grooming” means “preparing” or “training”. Its an art of self presentation to blend a person to a professional. The subject is included practical skills and knowledge and cover topics such as: hair care and styling, skin care, applying makeup, manicure and pedicure, dressing for success, colour balancing , food for good health and body image and personality development.
I would like to express my special gratitude to my grooming teacher Mrs. Jyothi Thomas as well as my friends who helped me to do this project on the topic of “Grooming”. Which also helped me in doing a lot of research and I came to know about so many new things.I am very thankful to them.Secondly I like to thank my parents who helped me a lot to study.By attending the classes of grooming my knowledge and character is improved.“THANKS AGAIN TO ALL WHO HELPED ME”

Manners :- In hospitality industry we have to deal with different kind of people from different culture and backgrounds so common manners is important like wishing and face expression.
Communication skill :- In this profession we always have to make a healthy relation with the guest we deal with so its important to understand and to answer them without any confusions.
Patience :- Patience have an important role in the hospitality because in this field our duty is to please our guests whatever there character or mood is.
Confidence :- Working on a sector like hospitality is about mingling with a lot of people from different places and different characters so its important to be confident.
Commonsense :- There will be a lot of good and bad situations we have to handle. In certain situations its important to use our commonsense to treat the guests.
Politeness :- Politeness and respecting others is essential for hospitality. Even sometimes it may help you to solve problems and by being polite we can maintain a nice atmosphere around us.

Conclusion
By attending the classes of grooming I came to know the
