GRF-100-1 RFID Reader GRF-100-1 is a RFID Reader specially retrofitted by Grand-Flo to match its function of tracking moving targets (read RFID tag that is attached to a moving item) in an enclosed and semi-enclosed environment characterized by metal structures typical of produc- tion plants and warehouses. These moving targets include individu- al parts in the assembly line, equipment, large item materials, trolley, vehicles, etc. GRF-100-1 comes with dual antenna ports and supports up to two (2) external antennas. With dual antenna, GRF-100-1 can cover a wider area (read-zone). By coupling with circular polarization type antennas, GRF-100-1 is able to focus (narrower read-zone) and read RFID tags in most orientation and reduces misreads and phan- tom reads that are the main causes of RFID project failures. GRF-100-1 supports all the ISO 18000-6c commands and has the capability to write data to RFID tags. Naturally, the risk of failure to write data to a passive RFID tag increases with distance. Any failure to complete the write command will corrupt the tag data. We do not recommend using GRF-100-1 to write passive RFID tags due to this risk. Integrated RFID Readers combines a RFID Reader and a RFID Antenna in one device. RFID Readers such as GRF-100-1 with exter- nal antenna are more flexible than integrated RFID Readers during installation and maintenance. The independent RFID Reader unit which requires electrical power supply may be installed near or on the wall where power is easily extended and at a lower position for ease of maintenance. The external RFID antenna can be mounted at higher location and near perfect sport to track moving targets. GRF-100-1 RFID Reader

GRF-100-1 is a RFID Reader specially retrofitted by Grand-Flo to match its function of tracking moving targets (read RFID tag that is attached to a moving item) in an enclosed and semi-enclosed environment characterized by metal structures typical of produc-tion plants and warehouses. These moving targets include individu-al parts in the assembly line, equipment, large item materials, trolley, vehicles, etc.

GRF-100-1 comes with dual antenna ports and supports up to two (2) external antennas. With dual antenna, GRF-100-1 can cover a wider area (read-zone). By coupling with circular polarization type antennas, GRF-100-1 is able to focus (narrower read-zone) and read RFID tags in most orientation and reduces misreads and phan-tom reads that are the main causes of RFID project failures.

RFID Readers such as GRF-100-1 with exter-nal antenna are more flexible than integrated RFID Readers during installation and maintenance. The independent RFID Reader unit which requires electrical power supply may be installed near or on the wall where power is easily extended and at a lower position for ease of maintenance. The external RFID antenna can be mounted at higher location and near perfect sport to track moving targets.
