O ur company was founded in 1994 by the late Emmanuel S. Mmbando. The late Mr.Mmbando

had a simple vision of diversified general contracting firm distinguishing by integrity, quality

work, attention to details, on-time completion, strong working partnership and the recruitment of top

level staff. His commitment to quality, integrity and service to customers has been continued by his

successors at Grey investments and has helped the company to be at par with local companies in terms

of standards of performance and quality deliverance.

Having started the business from scratch, he was able to oversee the company’s growth from a one-

man operation to a recognized construction company within the industry. Today, every employee at

Grey Investments share that successful vision that the late Mr.E.S. Mmbando helped built his company

on. And, with his long-term vision, vast experience and successful management from the founder,

today Grey investments has developed to become one of the prestigious construction company in

Tanzania with its field of activities including housing complexes, banks and business centres, all types

of administrative, commercial and industrial building and factory buildings.

Today, the company and each of its staff members uphold its founder’s vision to provide valuable

services to clients. Mr.E.S.Mmbando insistence on quality of service, hard work, and responsiveness to

clients’ needs still remains the company’s credo and in return has led to its success in a very competitive

industry. The company’s ability to address changing conditions and demands, find and serve diverse

design-build experience and work regularly with many designers, architecture and engineering firms as

our consultants. We provide start to finish advice and expertise to enhance and complete any project.

We work to develop specific project requirements, schedules and deadlines that serve the client and

the project. Grey Investments Company has a proven track record of completing quality projects on

Grey Investments Company operates on the team concept and our many skilled and experienced

staff and field team members have established a standard of excellence that is well recognized in

the construction industry. We perform commercial, industrial, housing complexes, banks and business

centres and institutional projects involving new buildings, additions and renovations. As a general

contractor we self perform foundations, masonry, carpentry, metal studs, (................) work. Our office

staff’s includes highly trained and experienced business, engineering and technical experts who provide

oversight and support for each project. This team concept is the basis for our hands-on, pro active
