About usWe met while working at the same hospital and began dating shortly after Greg took a job at a different hospital. Our relationship grew and within a few years we were married and have been living happily as a married couple for six years and have been together for 10.

We have a group of friends that we often see. We enjoy vacationing and we do so whenever time allows. Some of our favorite destinations have been in the Caribbean and we have also enjoyed a lot of travel here in the country and enjoy cities such as New York City and Ashville, North Carolina. We enjoy concerts, dining out but truthfully, the both of us just enjoy being together at home.

We are very active as we live close to miles and miles of biking paths and walking trails. In the spring, summer and fall, we enjoy biking, both in the city and on the open roads and in rougher terrain. We often visit the Metroparks and the trails that the city has to offer.

I admire Greg for many reasons especially the passion he has for his work. I can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. He is sensitive and invested in helping his patients achieve positive outcomes.

From the beginning of our relationship, I have felt lucky to have met Greg. I enjoy navigating life with him. He is a wonderful loving partner and incredibly supportive of me and my family. He has accepted my family from the start and had no trouble becoming a part of it. He is my best friend and I feel he continually helps to inspire growth in me and our relationship.

I am excited to see Greg become a father and for us to expand our family together. I know he will be a gentle, loving father. He is naturally great with children. The way his young niece lights up whenever she sees him melts my heart. I have seen firsthand the love and affection he gives to me, our family, and our animals.

waited until just before I left that hospital and then I asked her out. Since then she has been my favorite person in the world and the best person in my life. She is a very caring person and family and friendships mean the world to her. She is often with her mother hanging

out, doing Tai Chi, hiking, walking the dogs or just sitting around the house sipping coffee and talking.

Krisanee has a fun and silly side. We often make up ridiculous songs about the dogs and cats and tend to find a lot to laugh about. She is very active which is great as biking is something that we like to do often and whenever the weather permits. She is very adventurous and is always ready to explore a new state, city or country.

Professionally, Krisanee is focused and highly skilled at her job. Her caring nature allows her to provide excellent care to patients while fostering relationships with her staff. Her upcoming completion of her Master’s degree is something that I am very impressed with. Despite the stress of the last year, which included moving into a new home followed very shortly after by the COVID-19 health emergency, Krisanee was able to overcome the stress and work very hard despite the demand of her job throughout the pandemic. She is very skilled at managing high stress situations. She is very patient and always thinks critically which allows her to make sound decisions.

I could go on and on about my wife forever, but in the end, she is just one of the most wonderful people that I have ever met. I truly am looking forward to watching her become a mother. She is so excited about this possibility and I know from my relationship with her and the impact that she has had on my life as her husband, she will be an excellent mother.

HomeourWe live in a 3-bedroom home that has a fully finished basement, large rooms and a spacious enclosed outdoor patio. The schools in our area are rated as excellent schools and the neighborhood is very safe. We have nearly 50 miles of walking/hiking/biking trails and several parks and natural preserve areas, tennis courts and pools. Our community also houses a large public library, access to cultural centers and museums and access to all sorts of recreational and organized activities for children of all ages and adults alike. We live in a diverse community which is very important to us as we are both believers in active learning about different cultures, exposure to new experiences and ongoing expansion of our worldviews.

Our familyGreg’s family includes his father, Michael, his mother, Mary Jean and his younger brother Shawn. Shawn is married to his wife Holly and they have a daughter named Marin. Krisanee’s family includes her mother, Paki and her brother, Eddie. Eddie has 3 children, Missy, A.J. and Mikey. With the exception, of Missy, our entire family is local to us and is no more than a 20-minute drive away. We see our family often as they are a big part of our lives. Family is always dropping by on weekends and throughout the week and we often have dinners, lunches and spend most holidays together. Greg’s extended family is spread out across the United States while Krisanee has extended family within this country but also in Thailand, Guam, and Italy.

We are both animal lovers and have 2 dogs, Olive and Mae and 2 cats, Giggles and Ellie. They are very loving; they are often found napping together or chasing one another around the house.

Family and quality time are particularly important to us. Our professions are very flexible which allows for us to maximize family time and participate in the activities and interests that we both enjoy. Balance is another important factor in our lives. We believe in hard work, determination, and diligence, but also believe that you need to be able to reward that hard work by making time to enjoy the fun things in life.

We are both in the healthcare field, Greg is a psychotherapist and Krisanee is a nurse administrator within the healthcare system. We value love, respect, kindness, open-mindedness, and honesty. As an interracial couple, we believe that diversity, equality, and the pursuit of multicultural experiences are key values that we want to instill in our child. We are open to adopting a biracial/mixed child. We feel that helping a child to participate in and celebrate their culture is a wonderful way to keep central to a child’s life the essence of their roots.
