We wanted to let you know that we have received our 2 nd “Center of Excellence” award due to our high patient satisfaction and rapid healing rates. Our Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at the Mission Oaks Campus offers comprehensive stateoftheart wound care in treating patients with these debilitating conditions. Our comprehensive wound care service includes developing a treatment plan and having ongoing communication, informing you of your patient’s progress. The focus on patient care leads to success for all of us patients and physicians, enabling patients to return to active and healthy lives! At the Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medical Center of Good Samaritan Hospital, we follow clinically proven pathways that promote faster healing and better outcomes. We bring together the people, resources, and expertise needed to promote true healing. Your patient's individualized treatment plan may include specialized wound dressings, debridement, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, prescription growth factors, bioengineered skin grafting, edema management and non invasive vascular assessment. Our site has 2 hyperbaric oxygen chambers to treat diabetic ulcers of the lower extremities, soft tissue radionecrosis and osteoradionecrosis, chronic refractory osteomyelitis, and compromised skin grafts and flaps. We also have two new physicians who have joined our staff: Dr. Najwa Javed from surgical podiatry, and Dr. Kirk Churukian, specializing in plastic surgery. Our multidisciplinary staff includes the following physicians: • Dr. Julia Shuleshko, Medical Director, Emergency Medicine • Dr. Jeffrey Kaplan, Medical Director, General and Vascular Surgeon • Dr. Manjula JeyapalanNoone, General Surgeon • Dr. Jessica Ngo, Emergency Medicine • Dr. Jonathan Le, Plastic Surgeon Together as a team, we can treat your patients with diabetic ulcers, neuropathic ulcers, pressure ulcers, ischemic ulcers, venous insufficiency, traumatic wounds, surgical wounds, vasculitis, burns, peristomal skin irritations and other chronic, nonhealing wounds.
