Join us for Family Night! On Friday, August 9th, join us for a Family Olympics night of fun! The event will run from 6pm-8pm, and you can come and go as you please. All family members are welcome! We hope to see you there!

Fun from the FieldOur campers had the pleasure of welcoming Cari Grundman, a summer camp donor, to our campsite on Tuesday morning. She and Zane Moore, President and CEO of YMCA of Bucks County, were able to see opening ceremonies, sing a camp song, and watch our Huddle groups in action!

Inclement Weather UpdatesIn the event of inclement weather (thunder/lightning in the area, high heat temperatures, etc), the campers will move inside to stay cool/dry.

The best ways to stay up-to-date about the location changes are:● By calling 215-348-8131 ext. 1160. The voicemail will be

updated with the indoor locations of our campers.● By joining the Doylestown Camp Facebook group here. A

member of the camp leadership team will post the locations of the campers in the group.

● By looking for the orange feather flag labeled “Check in/Check out”. This is moved to the main building, where most of the campers will be.

Parents/Caregivers, below are examples of open-ended questions to engage your campers:

● Talk to me about your day at camp…

● Tell me about your new friends…

● Teach me what you are learning...

Water and Sunscreen ReminderAs the warmer days of summer are upon us, all campers are reminded to reapply sunscreen and drink water multiple times throughout the camp day. We have water bottle filling stations throughout the campsite! If you forget to pack a water bottle, we have reusable ones available for purchase. Please connect with your lead counselor or a member of the Camp Leadership team for more information.

Please remember to pack a labeled, refillable, reusable water bottle each day to camp.
