Green Valley's Got Talent
Thank you to everyone who participated in the incredibly successful second Green
Valley’s Got Talent Showcase. We doubled the size of our performance space by
moving into the CPAC Theater and still packed the place! Wow! The performers
rose to the occasion delivering scintillating performances. Folk, country, Native
American-style flute and Tibetan gongs, comedy, blues, hip hop dancing—the
evening had it all! The audience clapped, hooted, and hollered its appreciation of
our homegrown Greater Green Valley Area talent!
Featured Performers for January 9 Showcase
The Lucky Jazz Band
with vocalist Patricia Watson
The Lucky Jazz Band features a solid rhythm section, hot soloists, and smooth
vocals from snowbird songbird Patricia Watson. Green Valley's Got Talent is
happy to host the band as they prepare for their appearance in this year's Tucson
Jazz Festival, January 16 at 10 a.m. at the Mercado San Agustin Stage, 100 S.
Avenido del Convento. Always fun and always swinging, The Lucky Jazz Band
combines mid-20th-century Bop with tuneful Jazz Standards and some well-known
Pop favorites. You won’t want to miss this performance! If it sounds good, it’s
Lucky!
The CPAC Theater!
After filling our new venue, we will find a few ways to squeeze in a few more seats
for Green Valley's Got Talent fans by adding seating on the stage around and
behind the performers. This will create a feeling of theater-in-the-round as
pioneered by Shakespeare in the Globe Theater in London. Attendees will have
their choice of being up close and intimate with the performers or taking advantage
of the raked floor and comfortable seating in the main theater. As always, we
reserve seating for the handicapped in our audience.
Refreshments during the Intermission
We are structuring each evening with an intermission to give patrons an
opportunity to take advantage of the cash bar. We will be offering a wide selection
of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. As always, thanks to our bartender
George for his great service!

are committed to keep admission to our showcases accessible to everyone. We
want everyone, regardless of their ability to contribute, to be able to share in our
rich community of music, magic, and the arts! Thank you to everyone who makes
this possible!
