• End austerity and restore the public sector, creating over one million good jobs. This will be paid for by the closure of tax loopholes and a Robin Hood Tax on the banks.

• Increase the minimum wage to £10 an hour by 2020.

• Fight for a publicly funded NHS free at the point of use and end the creeping privatisation of its services.

• Make mental health a much higher priority with resources to match this status.

• Abolish the bedroom tax.

• Build 500,000 social rented homes by 2020 and bring empty homes back into use.

• Cap rent and introduce longer tenancies.

• Invest in renewable energy and insulate buildings so creating jobs

• Phase out fossil fuels and nuclear power.

We Greens believe it is time to make the economy fairer and tackle the system that brings wealth to the few whilst the majority have stagnant or falling incomes. We would invest in new homes and renewable technolo-gies that would boost local jobs that pay a decent living wage.

We believe in caring and compassion rather than austerity and would act to protect the most vulnerable in society, fighting to preserve the NHS and vital public services.

We believe in creating a sustainable future for our children. That’s why it is important to look after our planet and tackle climate change.

You don’t have to vote for the mainstream parties – there is an alternative. On May 7 make your vote count for a decent future.
