What is GLM?

How did it all begin?

A group of journalists were concerned about the lack of environmental awareness and its linkage to poverty in Zambia.

In 1997 The Green House Foundation (GHF) was founded to address this issue.

Three years later the GHF disbanded as it could not meet its objectives. The surviving two members of the GHF were part of the six environment and development enthusiasts who founded the Green Living Movement (GLM).

The GLM was registered as a Non Governmental Organisation in May 2000.
