We’ll remove parking spaces on the west side of the street and near some driveways on the east side of the street to ensure visibility and sightlines. We’re also adding and upgrading more than 30 curb ramps for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility! People biking will have a buffer of parking spaces between the protected bike lane and people driving in the general purpose lane. FEATURES OF THE DESIGN People biking will be able to connect to existing bike facilities on Stone Way N south of N 45th St and on N 46th St going east. They’ll also be able to travel north onto Green Lake Way N when the new 1-way protected bike lanes are added. The new lane layout will provide a buffer between people biking and driving by placing the parking spaces between the protected bike lane and general purpose lane!
