Green Eggs And Ham

BY: Dr.Suess

Book review done by Evelyn Sagrero

*Summary

• Repeatedly, a character named Sam-I-Am keeps annoying an unnamed character, who is also the narrator, to try some green eggs and ham. Every reply is something similar to “I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them Sam-I-Am.” Various disastrous attempts from Sam-I-Am try to persuade Unnamed to eat green eggs and ham. Will Sam-I-Am succeed? Read the book and find out!

Personal Opinion

• Green Eggs And Ham is great book suitable for ages 4+. It’s a short and silly book, but at the same time it is filled with poetry. The animations are witty and amusing. You might learn a lesson, (or maybe NOT!) but I like it, nevertheless.

~Recommendation

• As I explained before, the book is usually ages 4 and up but you might want to read it to or at younger ages. If you are a person that likes vivid drawings and crazy little creatures or even just wants to read a short book, then this is the book for you. Humans,(no offense to aliens if they even exist!)that have a thing for poetry may be interested in all the rhyming in this book. If you like most of Dr.Suess’ books, you have a chance of liking this one too. Read it today!! ~Enjoy
