Greece is bordered to the Northwest by Albania to the North with Bulgaria and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and Turkey to the East. Greece has a long and rich history which brought great cultural influence on three continents. In Greece democracy and philosophy was born. Greece is the birthplace of the Olympic Games, drama, tragedy and comedy. The permanent population of the country is 10.815.197 inhabitants. Greece holds the 11th place in the countries with the largest coastline (13.676 km) as it has many islands (about 2,500 - 227 of which are inhabited)

The Parthenon, the first and most important monument of the Acropolis, was and is α masterful construction, but is also so wisely located at the top of the sacred rock.

Our islands

Greek Islands ... two simple words, but they are sufficient to reflect on one's unique images and memories as a cerulean sky, endless sandy beaches, moments of spree, historical monuments and much more.

All who have visited some of the many Greek Islands have witnessed an immense natural beauty and admit that something similar doesn't have encountered anywhere else in the world.

Although all Greek Islands present an unforgettable charm and beauty, every island is unique without being unlike any other.
