The KING Report – SA - 1994

“Good corporate governance is concerned with managing the balance between the economic and social goals and between individual and communal goals. To stretch this point further, today's corporations should strive to strike the balance between the demands to become globally competitive with its responsibilities to the society in which they function. Business need to actively participate in the policy development process to ensure that private sector interests are taken into consideration and also develop a strong and vibrant local identity and strengthen community linkages”
