Three European guitarists featured will be: Gypsy Jazz legend Lulo Reinhardt, contemporary fingerstyle innovator Mike Dawes, and multi-genre showman Andre Krengel.

Spring Blockbuster! Exeter University’s SEMI-TONEDSunday, April 17 3:00 pm

With a spoonful of GLEE and a heavy dose of incredible a capella, this all-male singing sensation is the vocal pride of Exeter University and the recent champions of Voice Festival UK. This group has enjoyed international success and critical acclaim, becoming the standard bearer for the trendy a capella genre. The singers perform many award winning modern rock and pop hits. Impossible to beat and hard to match, this group touches the inner singer in all.

PAINTING REASSEMBLEDMonday, February 1 – Saturday, April 16This exhibition brings together the work of Katie Bell, Joseph Montgomery, and Lumin Wakoa to examine the materiality and objecthood of painting through the reassembling of objects, materials, and forms. The artists utilize the process of painting as a catalyst for the generation and regeneration of ideas and imagery. Fragments collected from a wide array of sources, including earlier works, are recycled and reconstructed to create new compositions that challenge the traditional constraints of painting through both collage and assemblage.

STUDENT SHOW Monday, May 2 – Saturday, May 7An end-of-term celebration of student talent and creativity will be showcased. It reflects both student accomplishments and faculty dedication.

BEFORE YOUR EYES May 6 Turkey (2009) Ten-year old Gulistan and her younger brother live happily with their parents in Turkish

Kurdistan. Tragedy strikes when their parents are shot down by paramilitary gunmen before their eyes. Traumatized and orphaned, they are placed in the care of their young, politically-active aunt who soon disappears without a trace. (102 minutes)

LOST EMBRACE May 13 Argentina (Jewish) (2004) A twenty-something Jewish-Argentinean student left the University of Architecture. He wanders downtown where his mother has a lingerie shop and his brother runs an import business. He tries to get a Polish passport and move to Europe. He has never understood why his father left him to fight in the Yom Kippur War. (99 minutes)

THE LUNCHBOXMay 20 India (2013) The film revolves around a mistaken delivery by the Dabbawalas (lunchbox service) of Mumbai, leading to a relationship between a lonely widower and an unhappy housewife, as they start exchanging notes through the daily lunchbox. (104 minutes)

The world’s foremost acoustic guitarists perform their latest original compositions and exchange musical ideas. Spring Blockbuster! Exeter University’s SEMI-TONEDSunday, April 17 3:00 pm

With a spoonful of GLEE and a heavy dose of incredible a capella, this all-male singing sensation is the vocal pride of Exeter University and the recent champions of Voice Festival UK. This group has enjoyed international success and critical acclaim, becoming the standard bearer for the trendy a capella genre. The singers perform many award winning modern rock and pop hits. PAINTING REASSEMBLEDMonday, February 1 – Saturday, April 16This exhibition brings together the work of Katie Bell, Joseph Montgomery, and Lumin Wakoa to examine the materiality and objecthood of painting through the reassembling of objects, materials, and forms. The artists utilize the process of painting as a catalyst for the generation and regeneration of ideas and imagery. Fragments collected from a wide array of sources, including earlier works, are recycled and reconstructed to create new compositions that challenge the traditional constraints of painting through both collage and assemblage.

STUDENT SHOW Monday, May 2 – Saturday, May 7An end-of-term celebration of student talent and creativity will be showcased. It reflects both student accomplishments and faculty dedication.

LOST EMBRACE May 13 Argentina (Jewish) (2004) A twenty-something Jewish-Argentinean student left the University of Architecture. He wanders downtown where his mother has a lingerie shop and his brother runs an import business. He tries to get a Polish passport and move to Europe. He has never understood why his father left him to fight in the Yom Kippur War. (99 minutes)

THE LUNCHBOXMay 20 India (2013) The film revolves around a mistaken delivery by the Dabbawalas (lunchbox service) of Mumbai, leading to a relationship between a lonely widower and an unhappy housewife, as they start exchanging notes through the daily lunchbox. (104 minutes)
