Objective of this project is a detailed investigation of the stator-rotor-stator
interaction in a transonic turbine stage. The outcome of this work is a experimental
database for unsteady, transonic flows through a high pressure turbine 1 ½ stage.

Combustion Diagnostics
• Mainly direct contractory work for industry
• Conventional and laser-optical recording of
vibrations
• Recording of sound-pressure
• Component analysis using shakers (up to
20kHz and 180N) and vibration insulated
platforms (appr. 1,8x3m)
• Support for acceptance tests
• Support by Finite Element Analysis.
