Grasslands are between forests and deserts.About one quarter of the Earths land is covered with grasslands.They are in every continent except, Antarctica.

Location

Humans population depend on the service provided by ecosystems and their components, soil, water, and nutrients.Grasslands included, fish, and wildlife. Timber, water, and recreation resources, which attracts tourist.

7Plants and AdaptationsMany grasses are wind pollinated and are well-suited to the exposed, windy conditions of the grasslands.Some of the plants in the grasslands are forbs, stargrass,lemon grass, scattered trees, and flowers.Long narrow leaves like grass do not lose as much water in the heat as big leaves do.
