Reflection

My logo was initially inspired by my love for mu-sic. Various exercises and techniques we learned throughout class allowed me to explore the creativ-ity involved in designing a logo and poster for a such a well-known music festival. Some challenges I encountered were finding an image that solidified what Coachella represents to music fans, along with the organization of the Logo and what colors would be most appealing. The use of typography was also crucial, as having to much or too little could make or break the design. The room for creatitivity and expression were one of the most enjoyable parts of the project. What we learned in this class will not only help in presentation and aesthetic aspects of other classes, but also aid in the start of our communica-tion career. As a designer, I feel much more versatile and experienced through my knowledge of Inde-sign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
