According to the Corsini Encyclopedia of

Psychological and Behavioral Science:

A laboratory experiment was conducted with rats in a maze to determine the

eff ect of “single-route training” in comparison to “multiple-route training”. It was determined that the “single-route

training” was not as eff ective as the “multiple-route training” because it did

not correlate a relationship between diff erent parts of the maze.

“Single-Route Training” represents the use of graphic organizers, which provided

the most successful maze completion.
