Graphic Design Internship INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, seeks a highly motivated, organized, and productive graphic design intern who will work with the affiliate’s Marketing & PR Manager to design a variety of marketing materials as needed for the various departments of the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES Help design affiliate brochures, pamphlets, fliers, event posters, website material, and more Work with the PR/Social Media Intern in developing visual aids for online campaigns TIME COMMITMENT Generally we require 15 hours per week for 3 months, schedule will be set at beginning of internship. There is some flexibility in terms of scheduling. REQUIREMENTS Ability to commit to 15 hours per week onsite Pursuing a degree in design, illustration, or related major Strong computer skills in using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills Energy and creativity, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to use graphic artwork to further promote the organization Ability to contribute individually, and participate in cross-functional teams BENEFITS Great networking opportunities and job skills development.
