Hello, I’m Lauren Case

I’m a junior at the University of Arkansas, starting to look for roles in the fashion industry. As an apparel major, I am very

detail oriented and love the creative and visual aspects of life. I am more interested in the styling side of things but enjoy

learning all things about the broad and interesting world of fashion.

I have taken many classes in apparel design and production. Through years of working in retail I have gained experience

through styling, photographing, then posting photos of products on the store’s Instagram as well as visually

merchandising the store layout. Now I want to put my knowledge to good use and would love to gain experience behind the scenes of photo shoots or even branch off into

personal styling.

Fashion Trend BoardI designed this trend board in Kaledo Design. I pulled inspi-ration from the textures of the natural Earth and how they reflectedingownsontherun-way today.

Walmart Competition Trend BoardWe had to design a doll out-fitforacompetitionwithWalmart, and whoever’s design they like, they will sell in stores next Spring. I pulled inspira-tion from the bright, bold col-ors of the ocean and the overall tropical feel of the beach. I liked the girly and fun vibe of these pictures.

Fashion Style BoardFor the fashion style board, I createdfivegownsthatre-flectedmytrendresearch.IusedtextilesthatIbelievefitwith the trend of havingfabricreflectthetex-

tures of the natural Earth.

Walmart Competition Style BoardI designed a neon pink neo-prene wetsuit with stripe details and a zipper. I cre-ated accessories to go along with the Surfer Girl Theme. Walmart ended up choos-ing my design and this will be sold in Walmart stores in Spring 2016!
