Grant Edwards is a hands-on, results-drivenexecutive with expertise in finance operations,SEC reporting, corporate governance, andstrategic planning. Grant has been the CFO for multiple early stagecompanies, many of which of had successful exits.These include an energy company that grew frominception to over $70 million in annual revenues, anentertainment and theatre company, a durablemedical equipment company, a receivablefactoring business and an executive travelcompany. His Big 4 CPA experience includes  positionswith Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Andersen. He also served as Senior Director of SECReporting and Corporate Controller for Shinogi& Co. (formerly Sciele Pharma) where he launchedall initial accounting  policies and procedures,designed to shepherd the company through aperiod of massive growth, from $100MM to over$500MM in annual revenue. He effectivelymanaged a team of 32 employees and a fullspectrum of corporate finance functions, includinggeneral ledger, accounts payable, accountsreceivable, payroll, financial reporting (internal andexternal) and revenue recognition. As Vice President, CorporateController & Treasurer for Harbinger Group,Inc., Grant managed all finance, accounting, andtreasury functions for this NYSE-listedBDC/Holding Company/Private Equity company,while contributing additional service as an activemember of the Disclosure, Pension and 401KCommittee. Grant is also an adjunct professor foraccounting at Georgia State University.
