Ice Rink FAQs

Where is The Ice Rink located? The Ice Rink is located on the Spa level of Grand Sierra Resort. Enter through The Pool entrance, which is just by Johnny Rockets.

Is the rink open to the public, or just resort guests? The Ice Rink is open to everyone – hotel guests and locals alike.

How often is the ice repaired? The Ice Rink will be cleared of guests from 6:45pm to 7:15pm. Resurfacing takes between 25-30

minutes. Perfect timing to grab a hot cocoa and a S’more!

Will my skate rental ticket allow me to skate the entire time the rink is open? Yes! When you purchase a ticket for The Ice Rink, it is valid for all skating sessions, that’s from 4:00pm to 10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Sundays to Thursdays.

How often is the ice repaired? The Ice Rink will be cleared of guests every 2.5 hours for repair. Resurfacing takes between 25-30 minutes. Perfect timing to grab a hot cocoa and a S’more!

Can I bring my own food and drinks?

Guests are not permitted to bring any outside food or beverage to The Ice Rink. This includes coolers. We do allow unopened water bottles, as well as baby formula.
