བ"ན་པ་འ'ོ་འ"་ལ་ག+མ་-ེ། འ'ོ་འ"་དངོས་གཞི་དང་། འཛབ་བ6ང་7གས་བ-ན་པ་དང་། འཛབ་བ-ོད་པའོ།། དང་པོ་ལ་རབ་འ9ིང་ཐ་མ་ག+མ། རབ་སེམས་ཉིད་<ི་ངང་གནས་7གས་+་བ=ས་པ་ན།ི། Seventh, emanation and reabsorption. This has three parts: the actual emanation and reabsorption, the manner of the mantra-recitation, and the praise in mantras. First, for the recitation of the mantras, there are the best, medium and least ways. As for the best, one should recite from the natural state of mind, as follows: KUN ZHI TONG CHA NI YING / >ན་གཞིའི་-ོང་ཆ་ནི་ད@ིངས། The aspect of the base of all is the pure dimension; RIG PAI SAL CHA NI YE SHE / རིག་པའི་གསལ་ཆ་ནི་ཡེ་ཤེས། the aspect of clarity of awareness is primordial wisdom; TSAL GAG MED THAB / Cལ་འགག་མེད་ཐབས། unobstructed expressive energy is method; NGO WO TONG SAL SHE RAB / ངོ་བོ་-ོང་གསལ་ཤེས་རབ། the essence of emptiness and lucidity is wisdom; KYE GAG ME PAR RANG SHAR RANG DROL NAM DE WAR SHEG PA SAM GYI MI KHYAB PAR SAM / Dེ་འགག་མེད་པར་རང་ཤར་རང་6ོལ་Eམས་བདེ་བར་གཤེགས་པ་བསམ་Fིས་མི་Gབ་པ་བསམ།། visualise that which spontaneously arises and naturally dissolves without origin or cessation as the inconceivable host of Blessed Ones. དེ་ཡི་ངང་ལ་མ་གཡོས་བ=ས། Recite that in this state without wavering. འ9ིང་བDེད་Hོགས་+་བ=ས་པ་ན།ི། The medium procedure: for recitation with [the visualisation procedure for] generation and completion, as follows: ZHI MA CHÖ NYAM PAI NGANG LÄ / གཞི་མ་བཅོས་མཉམ་པའི་ངང་ལ། From the state of the uncontrived base, TSHÄ ME ZHI DÄN GYI NYING JE KYE LA / ཚད་མདེ་བཞི་Kན་Fི་Lིང་Mེ་བDེད་ལ། generate compassion that is endowed with the four immeasurable qualities; NYING GI KYIL DU A KAR PO CHIG LÄ Ö ZER PHAR THRÖ SEM CHÄN GYI DRIB PA BYANG / Lིང་གི་ད<ིལ་"་ཨཿདཀར་པོ་གཅིག་ལ་འོད་ཟེར་ཕར་འ'ོས་སེམས་ཅན་Fི་Sིབ་པ་Tངས། imagine a white letter A in the centre of your heart; light rays shine forth from there and purify the defilements of living beings, TSHUR DÜ OM YE SHE NGA DÄN CHIG TU GYUR PAR SAM / Uར་འ"ས་VཱX་ཡེ་ཤེས་Y་Kན་གཅིག་Z་[ར་པར་བསམ།། and are gathered in as the syllable OM endowed with the five wisdoms.

དེ་ནས་ཕོ་ཡིན་ན།། Then, if you [the celebrant] are a man, say: DAG NYI SHEN RAB KU DOG NGO SANG ZHAL CHIG CHYAG NYI SER GYI CHAG SHING NAM PA / བདག་ཉིད་གཤེན་རབ་\་མདོག་]ོ་སངས་ཞལ་གཅིག་^ག་གཉིས་གསེར་Fི་ཆག་ཤིང་བ_མས་པ། I generate the transformation of myself as Shenrab Miwo, light blue in colour, with one face and two hands, and holding a golden chagshing; ZHI GYÄN CU SUM GYI GYÄN PA KHOR LO TSIB TONG DANG DÄN PAI THRI LA ZHUG PA CHIG TU KYE PAI / ཞི་`ན་བa་ག+མ་Fིས་བ`ན་པ་འཁོར་ལོ་Cིབས་-ོང་དང་Kན་པའི་cི་ལ་བdགས་པ་གཅིག་Z་བDེད་པའི་ adorned with the thirteen peaceful ornaments, seated on a throne with a thousand-spoked wheel; and generated together with him, THRAG PA YÄ SU SHEN LHA Ö KAR / 'ག་པ་གཡས་+་གཤེན་e་འོད་དཀར། on my right shoulder is Shenlha Ökar YÖN DU SANG PO BUM THRI DANG / གཡོན་"་སངས་པོ་འfམ་cི་དང་། and on the left, Sangpo Bumthri; CHI WOR SA TRIG ER SANG KYE PAI KHOR LO TSIB TONG LA DER SHEG DRIB JYANG GI LHA TSHOG NAM KYI KOR NÄ ZHUG PAI gི་བོར་ས་hིག་ཨེར་སངས་བDེད་པའི་འཁོར་ལོ་Cིབས་-ོང་ལ་བདེར་གཤེགས་Sིབ་Tང་གི་e་ཚiགས་Eམས་<ིས་བjོར་ནས་བdགས་པའི། on the crown of my head is Satrig Ersang, and on the thousand spokes of the wheel (on the throne of Tonpa Shenrab) is the divine host of blessed ones who remove obscurities. NYING GI KYIL DU OM LÄ KUN TU ZANG PO TSHÖN GANG BA LA / Lིང་གི་ད<ིལ་"་VཱXཿ ལས་>ན་Z་བཟང་པོ་ཚiན་གང་བ་ལ། From the syllable ŌṂ at my heart is the Ever-Excellent One, the size of a thumb, NYING PO YIG DRU NAM THRA LA DÖ PA / Lིང་པོ་ཡིག་འk་Eམས་འ'་ལ་དོད་པ། and around him the sacred syllables are finely traced, SAL LA DZE PA Ö KYI YIG DRU GYEN LA LANG TE KOR WA / གསལ་ལ་མཛlས་པ་འོད་<ི་ཡིག་འk་Fེན་ལ་ལངས་ཏེ་jོར་བ། clear and beautiful; the syllables rise upwards and circle around. KYE PA DE DAG LA Ö ZER PHAR THRÖ SEM CHÄN GYI DRIB PA JYANG / བDེད་པ་དེ་དག་ལ་འོད་ཟེར་ཕར་འ'ོས་སེམས་ཅན་Fི་Sིབ་པ་Tངས། From these images that have been generated rays of light shine forth and purify the defilements of living beings, TSHUR DÜ DAG GYÜ KYI DUG NGA DÜ NGA CHOM NÄ KU NGA YE SHE NGA YI RANG ZHIN DU GYUR NÄ / Uར་འ"ས་བདག་nད་<ི་"ག་Y་བ"ད་Y་བཅོམ་ནས་\་Y་ཡེ་ཤེས་Y་ཡི་རང་བཞིན་"་[ར་ནས། and on being gathered in, overcome the five demons of the five poisons, who are transformed into the five enlightened bodies and the five wisdoms. DAG GI NYING POI DRA DROG PA TSAM GYI DRIB JYANG LHA TSHOG KHAM SUM SEM CHÄN ME CHU SA LUNG / བདག་གིས་Lིང་པོའི་S་Sོགས་པ་ཙམ་Fིས་Sིབ་Tང་e་ཚiགས་ཁམས་ག+མ་སེམས་ཅན་མེ་p་ས་qང་།

just by the sound of your recitation of the mantras the divine hosts of Purification of Defilements, the sentient beings of the three realms, as well as fire, water, wind, SA DO RI DRAG TSI SHING NAG TSHAL KUN GYI NYING POI DRA DI RI RI DO WAR SAM / ས་rོ་རི་9ག་Cི་ཤིང་ནགས་ཚལ་>ན་Fིས་Lིང་པོའི་S་དི་རི་རི་བ=ས་པར་བསམ།། earth, rocks, cliffs, plants and forests utter the sound of the mantra – visualise this. མ་ོཡིན་ན་པsྨ་-ོང་Kན་དfས་+་རང་ཉིད་ས་hིག་ཨེར་སངས་བDེད་དགོས་གཞན་གོང་དང་འu། If you [the celebrant] are a woman, imagine yourself as Satrig Ersang seated in the middle of a thousand-petalled lotus, otherwise the process of generation and completion is the same. ཐ་མ་ཡང་།། For the least: MIG GI ZUG THONG TSHÄ THAM CHÄ DE WAR SHEG PAI KU / མིག་གིས་གvགས་མཐོང་ཚད་ཐམས་ཅད་བདེ་བར་གཤེགས་པའི་\། NA WÄ DRA GO TSHÄ THAM CHÄ DU TRI SU YI DRA / E་བས་S་གོ་ཚད་ཐམས་ཅད་"་hི་+་ཡི་S། Whatever forms you can see, you should visualise these as the bodies of the blessed ones; whatever sounds you can hear, you should imagine these as the sound of the DU TRI SU mantra; SEM LA DRÄN TSHÄ THAM CHÄ KÜN TU ZANG POI GONG PAR SAM LA / སེམས་ལ་uན་ཚད་ཐམས་ཅད་>ན་Z་བཟང་པོའི་དགོངས་པར་བསམ་ལ།། and whatever you think in your mind you should imagine as the pure enlightened state of mind of the Ever-Excellent One. Lིང་པོ་བMོད། Then recite the mantras. གཉིས་པ་Lིང་པོ་བ6ང་7གས་ནི། བདག་གཞན་གསོན་གཤིན་Sིབ་Tོང་དོན་"་།། Secondly, the manner in which you should recite the mantra. For the purification of your own defilements, as well as those of others, both living and dead, recite as follows. A KAR A MÄ DU TRI SU NAG PO ZHI ZHI MAL MAL / ཨ་དཀར་ཨ་wད་"་hི་+་ནག་པོ་ཞི་ཞི་མལ་མལ།། བMོད། བར་ཆད་xེན་བ=ོག་དོན་"་།། Recite this, and then to repel obstructions and adverse circumstances, say [the mantra, and add]: SOHA / yzཿ

ད6་བགེགས་བ=ོག་པའི་དོན་"་། To repel enemies and obstructive demons, say: A KAR A ME DU TRI SU/ NAG PO DRA GEG ZHI ZHI MAL MAL SO HA/ ཨ་དཀར་ཨ་wད་"་hི་+། ནག་པོ་ད6་བགེགས་ཞི་ཞི་མལ་y་zཿ སོགས་བMོད། གཞན་ཡང་མི་ནད་|གས་ནད་@ད་ཁ་སད་སེར། སོགས་རང་རང་གང་འདོད་ཁ་བ}ར་@ེད་ན། འདི་ཡིས་མི་བ=ོག་པ་གང་ཡང་མེད་དོ།། འདི་ཡི་བLེན་ཚད་ནི་རབ་nན་"་བ=ས། འ9ིང་ནི་~གས་མ་�ང་བར་"་�བས། ཐ་མ་འfམ་'ག་6ངས་+་བཅད་ལ་བ=། and so forth. Furthermore, if you change the term [between NAG PO and ZHI ZHI] to specify illnesses of humans or animals, curses, frost, hail or anything else you wish, there is nothing that

[these mantras] will not repel. As for how much you should recite this, ideally you should do so constantly; or, less optimally, you should recite it until signs manifest; and at the very least, you should recite it one hundred thousand times. ག+མ་པ་འཛབ་བ-ོད་ནི།། Third, the praise in mantras. A KAR SEM NYI NAM PAR DAG / ཨ་དཀརཿ སེམས་ཉིད་Eམ་པར་དག། A KAR: the perfectly pure nature of mind. A MÄ YE SHE Ö DU SAL / ཨ་wདཿ ཡེ་ཤེས་འོད་"་གསལ། A MÄ: luminous wisdom. DU TRI SU YI NGÄN SONG JYONG / "་hི་+ཿ ཡིས་ངན་སོང་Tོང་། DU TRI SU: the purification of the [three] lower realms. NAG PO LÄ KYI DIG DRIB DAG/ ནག་པོཿ ལས་<ི་�ིག་Sིབ་དག། NAG PO: the purification of karmic negativities and obscurations. ZHI ZHI KHOR WAI DUG NGAL ZHI / ཞི་ཞིཿ འཁོར་བའི་�ག་བ]ལ་ཞི། ZHI ZHI: the pacification of the suffering of samsara. MAL MAL DE WAI SEM DANG DÄN / མལ་མལཿ བདེ་བའི་སེམས་དང་Kན། MAL MAL: being endowed with a blissful state of mind. SOHA LOG TOG RU TRA JOM / yzཿ ལོག་~ོག་�་h་འཇོམས། SWĀHĀ: overcoming wrong views and ego-clinging. DUG NGAL ZHI JYE NYING PO DI / �ག་བ]ལ་ཞི་@ེད་Lིང་པོ་འདིས། Through this mantra that pacifies suffering, KHOR WAI DUG NGAL DONG TRUG NÄ /འཁོར་བའི་�ག་བ]ལ་དོང་�གས་ནས། may the suffering of samsara be shaken to its very depths, DRO NAM BÖN NYI YING SU SANG GYÄ SHOG / འ6ོ་Eམས་བོན་ཉིད་ད@ིངས་+་སངས་`ས་ཤོག།། and may living beings obtain enlightenment in the pure dimension of the ultimate nature of phenomena.
