The Corporate Finance program aims to train highly qualified professionals in the field of corporate finance, with the ability to make financial decisions on investment and financing, and valuation of financial assets, highly valued by companies that require professionals with specialized training at the graduate level in this area.

AIMED AT:- Professionals in the financial field or who wish to work in it.

- Graduates in Economics and Business, or other qualifications with an MBA, a master's degree in accounting or related areas.

OBJECTIVES:

Understanding of the company's competi-tive environment, alignment of the organi-zation to achieve its long-term objectives as well as understanding the process of creating business value and its drivers in a sustainable way

Reflect and justify the importance of Cor-porate Social Responsibility and codes of good governance within the framework of business strategy, identifying ethical and/or agency problems as well as possible solutions that can be applied in a business and financial context

Ability to apply the technological and com-puter tools for extracting financial infor-mation from databases, asset valuation, portfolio optimization, modeling, simu-lation and decision making in uncertain environments (E-views, SPSS, Excel)

Ability to understand, analyze and interpret the company's financial statements and their limitations within the IFRS and US-GAAP international accounting framework for business decisions

Understanding of the financial planning and wealth management process accor-ding to the European Financial Planning Association (EFPA) and knowledge of the different asset classes and financial pro-ducts available at the personal level for effective investment (through the use of fundamental analysis methodologies and technical analysis)

Academic StructureThe hybrid format allows students to personalise and make learning more flexible through ongoing training. In the hybrid classroom model, technology is integrated as an element of the learning process that guarantees continuity of training at all times.

Management subjects are subjects that develop the key professional skills necessary for management positions in any sector and company.

The specialisation is made up of category subjects in which the essential, generic and common competences related to a specific business function are developed, and specific subjects, developing specific, specialised competences specific to a particular function or position.

Individual project.Practical and systematic realization of a project focused on decision-making related to finance, which allows students to apply the specific knowledge and skills acquired during the course in a global, multidisciplinary and integrative way.

Subjects and training activities that complement the student’s curricular experience: courses, international study tours, business experiences, advanced subjects in management tools to prepare students for certifications, etc.

Optative subjects allow you to customise part of the training pathway, choosing between eligible subjects from any category, subjects specialising in management tools for the preparation of certifications and international experience.

The Master’s Final Project (TFM) is a real business project that is a challenge in which the student must demonstrate that the learning objectives have been met and that all the competences of the programme have been developed.

Optatives allow the personalisation of part of the training pathway in order to deepen those competences that students want or need to developthat students want or need to develop in order to improve their professional development. Miguel Ángel Povedano JiménezDoctor en Economía y Empresa, con más de 30 años de experiencia en el Área Financiera y más de una década dedicado al mundo de la docencia universitaria en la cita-da área. Tras esas tres décadas de experiencia en las Fi-nanzas, ocupando puestos desde la Dirección Financiera hasta la Auditoría interna de empresas multinacionales, actualmente es el Director del Máster en Dirección Fi-nanciera y del Máster en Corporate Finance de ESIC, ac-tividad que compagina con el Observatorio de Inteligen-cia Económica CYC-ESIC del que es miembro fundador, así como con tareas de asesoramiento a particulares y empresas y con las actividades propias de la Economía Forense.

The ESIC Alumni network was created in 1972. It aims to maintain, promote and strengthen professional links among ESIC’s graduates and public and private organizations, and support the development and progress of their members and the institutions they belong to.

There are more than 60,000 former students working in different positions worldwide.

ESIC offers help and support for graduates in their professional development after finishing the program of studies. The Professional Development Unit is responsible for giving advice, services, and related resources to help participants and graduates to meet their career aspirations. This service is available from the moment they enrol in the School until their retirement; i.e. graduates can use the Professional Development Unit during their whole professional life. Every academic year the Professional Development Unit processes morethan 2,000 placements/internships and another 3,500 job opportunities.

Encouraging entrepreneurship ESIC Entrepreneurship Center provides the environment,

facilities, support, and advice for participants to develop their business ideas.

Around 7% of MBA graduates start their own business at graduation which places ESIC in the 1st position in Spain

and 11th position in Europe in the creation of companies, according to QS.

ESIC Language School offers language training (general and/or business oriented)

in French, Chinese, Spanish, and English. The School is an official examination center for the most renowned

language examinations like DELE, TOEFL, or Cambridge.
