COURSE STRUCTURE

The course is offered part-time, internal mode with compulsory

intensive blocks in Casuarina Campus at Darwin during

semester one and two. The course is also offered full time in

internal mode with compulsory intensive blocks in Sydney

campus during summer semester.

This enables students to who are balancing work, life and

family commitments the flexibility to complete some of their

degree online.

The Graduate Certificate of Play Therapy is comprised of formal

study, complimented by coursework, group work with online

activities. Upon completion of the qualification, students are

eligible to apply for enrolment into the Graduate Diploma of

Play Therapy.

COURSE UNITS

FUN501 Foundations of Play Therapy

FUN502 Introduction into Child Centred Play Therapy

FUN503 Medical and Directive Play Therapy

FUN504 Fundamentals of Childhood Trauma

APPLICATION CRITERIA

Applicants must have a successfully completed a recognised

Bachelor degree or equivalent in the fields of education,

teaching, health, medicine, nursing, allied health, psychology,

child care or social work.

A clear Police Check and/or Working with Children Clearance

Notice is required by students before they can enrol in this

course. Students whose Police Check and/or Working with

Children Clearance Notice are not cleared will not be able to

complete the requirements of the course.
