It gives me great pleasure to inform you that STAFF SERGEANT SERGEANT, TROY D., XXX-XX-9341, has met graduation requirements. STAFF SERGEANT SERGEANT will be awarded the MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL TECHNOLOGY degree, effective 04 Feb 2009 and will graduate in the April 2009 class. 2. The Community College of the Air Force is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). A small sample of active duty graduates will be asked to complete the Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP) exam. Graduates are tested on the CAAP to satisfy a SACS requirement that schools demonstrate the effectiveness of their general education component. The test will only require about one hour of the graduate’s time. The graduate’s contribution will help ensure the continued recognition and accreditation of the college. TERESA D.
