Grading Scale

A = 90-100%

B = 80-89%

C = 70-79%

D = 60-69%

F = 0-59%

Attendance and Participation Policy

Attendance will be taken each at class meeting. A short research prompt or written assignment (for unit documentaries) will be posted on the board or distributed as a handout at the beginning of class and its completion by the end of the class session is considered participation in the course. Participation will be factored into your total grade.

Participation grade will be based upon the percentage of assignments collected and is labeled as “Attendance” in iCampus.

Attendance percentages will be calculated through iCampus/Canvas.

A tardy will count as and 80% participation for the day. A tardy will be considered arriving after the start of the class hour.
