Weekend Communique

Special Assembly: The students of KG 2C conducted a special assembly on the theme ‘Our Environment’, highlighting the importance of trees and how pollution is effecting our Earth. They spoke about the various kinds of

pollution, the dangers and our responsibility towards the Earth. They also gave us a few points on how to help keep our environment clean. Kindly scan the QR Codes to get a glimpse of the assembly.

World Environment Day: The World Environment Day was celebrated

to raise awareness about the importance of keeping the

environment clean and healthy. Children came dressed in green

and pledged to do their best for the environment. They planted

various kinds of seeds in their Kinder- Garden, and are taking turns to

water and nurture them.

Arabic and Islamic Assembly

Our kindergarteners enjoyed participating as they paid tribute to the UAE

through the Special Assembly conducted by the Arabic Department.

Parents were happy to watch the variety of performances. It was

particularly amazing that after just two months of introduction to the

Arabic language, each child got an opportunity to go up on stage and

perform for their parents.

KG 2A sang the letters of the Arabic alphabet. This song is where it all

begins in our KG Arabic Classes and our little Kindergarteners are now

experts at it.

The stage came alive with an energetic dance by KG 2B. We strive to

give a message in everything we do, and this dance was based on a

very special song that celebrated the relationship between mother and

child.

Our third performance was rendered on a sweet and healthy note

by KG 2C. The class sang about fruits, reminding us how healthy

and important they are for us.

KG2D performed a dance to their favourite action song ‘Head,

Shoulders, Knees and Toes,’ in Arabic.

KG 2E blew us away with a poem about birds, appreciating and exploring the wonderful gifts of Mother Nature.

We had a lovely Emirati dance showcasing the UAE culture and celebration, which was well performed by KG 2F.

INNOFEST: The Innofest was conducted on 4th June where children’s innovation and their innovative learning were showcased in the Discovery Room. The activities done were Coding, Candy Floss and Popcorn Making, Balloon Blowing and Walking Water experiments. The outcomes of Genius Hour

was also showcased.
