Source Based Questions – must be able to display an ability to extract

information from sources, apply knowledge from memory, understand historical

bias, show ability to empathise with the past.

Essay Skills – must be able to memorise facts, construct an argument, and apply

prior learning knowledge, focus on the topic, link ideas logically, and construct a

piece of writing with an introduction, a body of evidence and a conclusion.

PAPER STRUCTURE:
