Content: Watch Mrs. Mang read I Feel Silly Look at the Feelings chart and talk about different things that might make you feel the emotions listed on the chart. Write a sentence about as many as you can!

Weekly Activities: Complete at your own pace over the course of the week.

Use good craftsmanship with your lettering and graphics to create a poster or a sign for a celebration (ex. birthday, anniversary, wedding, 5th grade moving up ceremony).

Locate three objects around the house and use paint to stamp a pattern on paper. If paint is unavailable, trace the objects to create a pattern on paper.

Use your body to make a beat and share with a person in your house.

Use the name of people or creature in your house and try saying them in different orders. Try to make a pattern and say it -- write down your favorite if you can.

Go on a Rhyme Hunt. Find something in your house that rhymes with each of these words: glue, care, fox, led, tall, sat, and label.

Find a new spot to read a book. If the weather’s nice, you could even go outside and read!

Look for different kinds of rocks. What can you do with them? Use Wixie or paper to draw and write about them.

Build a toad house with your rocks.

Create an obstacle course using objects around the house that you need to run around/jump over with a family member.

10 sit-ups, 10 mountain climbers, 10 jumping jacks, rest, and repeat three times.

Play catch with a family member (football, baseball, bouncy ball, etc.)

Ride your bike, roller blade, or scooter around your driveway or neighborhood.

Use good craftsmanship with your lettering and graphics to create a poster or a sign congratulating the Spencerport class of 2020 seniors to hang in your window or place around the outside of your home.

Paint with String! Start by folding a paper in half. Then dip a string in paint and place the wet string inside the folded paper leaving a few inches of the string hanging out of the side. Then press down on top of the folded paper with one hand and pull the string out with the other hand. Lastly, open- up the paper to reveal the abstract art you have created.

Create a dance to

June 14 is Flag Day. Create the American Flag by drawing/painting/sewing it. Say the Pledge of Allegiance with someone at home.

Create your own workout using three different exercises, and three different stretches.

Mini Lava! Find different objects around the house to help you get from one side of the driveway to the other without stepping off the objects. If you do you need to start over.

Help with outdoor projects (cleaning furniture, yardwork, etc.)

Work on striking an object (bat and whiffle ball, balloon and racquet, hockey stick and puck, etc.) Work independently or with a family member.
