“There will be a one-time release of grades and other identifying information for all students in Grade 12 on October 2nd to the Ontario College Application Service, and October 16th to the Ontario University Application Centre, using secure transmission technology. This will activate all of your future applications for this year. If you would like more information about this, please contact your assigned guidance counsellor.”

Speaking of Marks...
It is your responsibility as a student to research the minimum mark and prerequisite requirements foreach program you apply for.
Furthermore...
It is your responsibility as a student to be in regular consultation with your teachers during formative assessments to find out what you have to do to attain the required averages for your summative assessments.
• All grade 11 & 12 courses you attempt will appear on your transcript whether or not you pass them.
• The full disclosure date for Semester 1 is November 28, 2019 and for Semester 2 is May 7, 2020.
• Please note that OCAS and OUAC transmission dates are prior to both full disclosure dates. More information will follow in November and in April regarding course drop procedures to meet full disclosure deadlines.
• Be sure to ask about the full disclosure date at Night School, Night School e-Learning, or Day School e-Learning, if you plan to drop a course and avoid full disclosure.
Full Disclosure
Finally...• Be sure to review your marks on Exam Review Day at the end of
each semester.
• All report card marks are final.
Private School courses outside of ECSS:
• YOU are responsible for ensuring that we have your official mark even if the Private School submits the mark on your behalf to your post secondary institution to ensure all information is received and accurate
• ECSS needs to add this to our system (Trillium) so that it willshow up on your final transcript.
• Please notify the Guidance and Career Education Office.
Grade 12 Students
• First review: IPP Task-by November 4th
• Second review: Non returning form- February course selection
• Last year you began to explore your IPP in a more intentional way.This process will continue this year as well.
• The focus is on education and career/life interests, choices, goals, and plans through the 4-step inquiry process.
• The IPP tool is found on and can be accessed on allelectronic devices.
• It is to be reviewed and revised by students twice each year:

• $150.00 for 3 choices, $50 for each additional choice-updated in October
• Pay online, by credit card, interac or send a cheque in the mail.
• If an applicant drops a choice or replaces it with a new choice, a charge may apply.
