Sing along and copy the movements.

Listen to the song, “Oats and Beans and Barley Grow.
After you’ve heard the first part of the song, sing along with the chorus.
Play the video again and sing the whole song.

Listen to a phrase, then sing it back.

Activity #6: Make a card for Mother’s Day
This video features the music, “Tortoises” from Carnival of the Animals.
Is the tortoise fast or slow? Is the music fast or slow?
Can you find a way to move like a tortoise to the music?
Try spider-walking or crab-walking. Will you go slow or fast?
You’ll go very slowly to show that you’re listening and responding to the music.
Activity #7: Move Like a Tortoise to the Music
Repetition is one of the ways that we learn something well.
Children improve singing on pitch, learn the lyrics and melody better with each repetition.
Children will develop their musicality if you sing, move, play more often!
Keep a list of the songs and activities that you like.
You can easily find any song by using the search en-gine on the website.
Activity #8: Review last week’s lesson or yourfavorite songs.
Your teacher might ask you to send something to show you’ve done the
lesson.
