Shepards, Rufus and Dodi. They are well trained in the German Schutzhund sport, which focuses on obedience, protection, and tracking. His other hobbies include working in his garden and classic cars. When she is not working, Pam enjoys baking and cake decorating. She often makes the communion bread for the church. Her latest interest has been learning to make Chrismons. She even gave them as gifts to family and friends at Christmas. The Rosemans are grateful that they found Grace Lutheran Church many years ago. "What we love most are the people and the sense of community,” says Dan. "The variety of programs and ministries, especially for children, is great!" he adds.

That said, they are really geared to the parent/caretaker to show adults how everyday tasks, like grocery shopping, cooking or even waiting in line can be a fun learning opportunity, and more importantly an opportunity to engage with your children.

Dan Roseman was born and raised right here in Salisbury, North Carolina. After graduating from Salisbury High, he attended Lenoir Rhyne University. He received his Associates degree from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 1991. He has worked in the tax department of the Food Lion home office for 28 years. Pam Roseman was born in Greenville, Michigan. She recieved her Bachelors degree from Grand Valley State University in 1991. After college, she moved to North Carolina for work at Rowan Regional Hospital. Pam continued her education, earning her Masters degree in 2001 and her Doctorate in 2011, both from the University of St. Augustine in Florida. She is currently a Physical Therapist with Gentiva Home Health. The Rosemans met at the YMCA and quickly became "running buddies", as Pam recalls. "We are still running together." she added. They were married in 1994 at Messiah Lutheran Church. They have 2 children, Raegan Prest and Alden Roseman. They also have 3 grandchildren: Hunter (8), Alyssa (7), and Avery (2), who all love attending church with "Nana and Poppaw" whenever possible. Family lunch after church has become a cherished tradition. After Alden was born, Dan and Pam began searching for a church that offered more children and youth activities. They found what they were looking for only a mile from their house. They visited Grace in late 2001, joined in 2002, and have been active members ever since. Dan is involved with the Lutheran Men in Mission, has served on church council, taught Sunday School, and helps with the Cub Scouts. Pam was a member and secretary of the Ilene Wise Circle and has served on various committees. Together, they play handbells and enjoy working on the LMIM Fish Fry each year. The Rosemans both enjoy a healthy and active lifestyle. They are longtime members of the Salisbury-Rowan Running Club. Dan was featured in the Salisbury Post recently, detailing his journey and completion of, "The Last Marathon," in Antarctica in 1999. Pam is a skilled cyclist and often competes in triathalons. She completed the famous Ironman triathalon in 2008! In his spare time, Dan enjoys spending time with their German
