LOOK UPLOOK DOWNLOOK ALL AROUND…SEED HUNTTake a walk around the forest and see how many different kinds of seeds you can collect for future planting at home in or your neighborhood and contribute to planting more trees in Malaysia.
TREE HUNTSee if you can find and identity 10 different types of trees in the forest.
And for the kids – go ona scavanger hunt around the retreat to find the following:
a floating insect
a tree stump
a pink flower
fungus on a tree
animal tracks
a leaf larger than your head
a rock big enough to stand on
Please supervise your childrenat all times.

MOUNTAIN BIKING– B-Y-O Bike and ride the trail alongside the Sungei Mengai and Sungei Semantut.
MEDIUM– 500-year-old Tree Hike Hike 800m up to the Lentang Forest Reserve to take a selfie with this tree – one of the few still left standing from previous logging.

MEDIUM/HARD– Rock Forest Rockface Hike A strenuous 3km hike uphill to the moist rockface that sits above the forest treeline for a spectacular view of the Bentong valley.

EASY– Retreat-to-Waterfall Hike Stroll along the Sungei Mengai and settle by the waterfall to listen to sounds of the forest.

150minsMEDIUM/HARD– Mini Taman Negara Hike Hike into the Lentang Forest Reserve along a trail through the trees and scramble alongside series of more than 8 small waterfalls.
MEDIUM– Big Rock Hike A challenging 3km hike to get on top of a 5-storey high rock that overlooks Bentong and with views of the Genting Highlands.
