My name is Arthur Jerome DiCasimirro. Remember this name because someday (sooner would be better than later) it will be printed within the glossy pages of GQ. I could start by saying how I am a huge fan of the magazine or how I think Glen O’Brien can solve just about any problem, but I will just get to the point and say I want to work for GQ. As an eager to learn, tech-savvy and recent college graduate, I would say that I could bring a lot to the table for the position of a Business Manager at GQ. I attended college at Susquehanna University to complete my Business Administration degree with an emphasis in marketing and graduated in May of 2012. Would I call myself a typical, business degree graduate? Probably not, and let me tell you why. Growing up in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, I have come to realize that most men in this small town have fashion, style, and culture on the back burner. On the other hand, these are all things I can’t live without. My degree encompasses knowledge within accounting, finance, economics, information systems, and marketing. This allowed me to experience professional experience around financial and business operations, client services, and research and analysis. Along with these classes I also worked within the communications school to utilize my business practices along with my creative capabilities in advertising, social media, broadcasting, and, public relations, and event planning. Exposing myself to extensive business classes, extracurricular activities, and jobs allowed me to develop a behind the scenes look at what initial steps are taken behind a small idea and how to market and promote the final product to a target audience. On a personal note, I would consider myself a highly adaptable learner, an out of the box thinker, and strong communicator. The past few years I have spent working in event planning, real estate, and the restaurant industry have made me capable to perform duties that are a given for a Business Manager position. I welcome the opportunity to further discuss my qualifications and interest in working and becoming part of the Condé Nast family. Thank you in advance for your consideration. Always looking sharp and living smart, Arthur DiCasimirro D A J
