Friday Session Descriptions Getting Started with Fixed Assets: Heather Maneiro – Are you ready to make the move from Excel to Fixed Assets? How do you prep your assets to import, set up your classes, and do your first depreciation? In this session we will try to get through it all. Year-End GL/AR/AP: Deb Sletmoen – Review the order of a successful closing process for both AR and AP modules in MS Dynamics GP. Review the 1099 process and how to correct if vendors were incorrectly set up. Review the steps required to ensure the modules roll forward and learn tips on what to do if errors occur. Intro to PowerBI & More: Dan McKay – Using PowerBI today or plan to use it? This session will cover the basics from setup to publishing. Database Structure: Tim McKay – We will go through the Table Naming convention in GP, cover several ways of how to find which tables contain the data you are looking for, and cover how the data flows in GP. This session will help build the knowledge for when you start writing SQL scripts and/or building reports. Jet Reports for GP: Faster Report Writing: Jet Reports – In May 2016, Microsoft announced the end of investment for additional feature developments in Management Reporter for GP. Numerous community and blog forums have come to refer to this as a “sun setting” of the FRx replacement. Around this same time, Microsoft also announced that they has established a partnership with Jet Reports to develop and release Jet Express for Excel with Dynamics GP. Now hundreds of thousands of Microsoft Dynamics GP users around the world can create

data-rich reports within minutes as a result of the free add-on of Jet Express for Excel, in replacement of Management Reporter. Join Michael Hoffman with Jet Reports to learn exactly what Jet Express offers the Microsoft Dynamics GP community. Attend this session and learn:
