• Regarding mobile technology, 3G will be used where available

•New mobile platforms adapted to M2M provide required managementcapabilities

• Required investment in Base Station / Node B batteries could be high

• There are the following pending issues:

• Prioritization mechanisms in 2G/3G are not adapted to SCADA

requirements

• There are not QoS capabilities
