Wednesday, April 6th

We will be leaving first thing in the morning to head down to NYC. Our first stop will be at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, then onto a matinee performance of Wicked! We will also be having a meal at Hard Rock Café. We should be back to GPA in the late evening.

Approximate Cost: $180If your student has never experienced a live Broadway performance, they absolutely should! It’s an experience unlike any other that they will never forget.

Competition Festival and Six Flags Trip

Friday, May 20th

Vocal Ensemble and Jazz Band Only

We will leave in the morning to go to the festival location (TBD). Each group will perform approximately 12 minutes, then get a 20 minute clinic with a nationally known clinician (also TBD). Afterwards, we will get back on the bus and head out for a fun day at Six Flags. This is one of our major performances for the year and is HIGHLY recommended. Meaning: if your student doesn’t go, we’re missing a valuable member of the musical ensemble and the whole group will be negatively impacted.

Besides, this kind of competition trip is a great experience and is super fun!
